She doesn't look at me as she says it. It's not even a word, it's a murmur, a whisper and I don't know what it means. She's drenched, it's raining outside, but though we're indoors it feels darker in here than out there. She shakes her head and says something else. I'm not listening. A drop of water is falling down the side of her face, next to her ear, down onto her neck, down onto her shoulder, down past her collarbone and into her shirt, so I can't see it anymore. She shrugs. For some reason, right now, at 2.53 am, I feel ridiculously happy. All I did was look at a picture. This may just be a weird high, induced by lack of sleep and too much sugar, but goodness it feels good to giggle at something. I love you, did you know that? Yeh.
